Five years ago, our city manager and the Council at the time learned that the city would owe $10 M to the state’s public employees’ pension fund this year and pay 7.75% interest on what’s owed. Did they immediately start accruing funds to pay for this as any prudent person should do? Nah! Not our city. Full Story

What shall I do for fruit this year?
A sign of global warming I fear.
Has any one else noticed fewer bees in their garden? Usually they are very busy in my yard as my peach tree is an early bloomer.
